Need Help: Regarding sports employees in state bank of india

SIR,
30 sports men recruitments are done in the year 1994 as cierks, subsequently on their achivements in their respective games by representing their respective state they were promoted to officer grade in state bank of india . i requested for information regarding how they are promted and what are their acihvments that are concidered for promtion , spotrs person have to represent the country or play for respective state at least for five years

but how ever bank has rejected stating that it comes under section 8 (i) (j) r/w section 11 and rejected my appeal

my contention is that sports men display their talant in font of many no of audiance and not like other employees who write their promtion tests in close rooms ,so it can be disclosed. it also gives some encourage ment to young kids who take up sports

U can file first appeal to first appellate authority of SBI within 30 days of receipt of reply by you. U can visit my blog on FIRST APPEAL FOR CENTRAL GOVT INFO for format and guidelines. U should file another RTI appln for getting policy of the bank for promoting sportsman from clerk to officer and also proceeding of departmental promotion process, in which U appear to have been wronged. Armed with this info/papers U can represent to higher authorities or move the court.

Just file a First Appeal (as suggested by jps50 in the previous post) citing exactly the same argument that you have used here.
