Unanswered: What should be the next step ?

Recently one of our friends has received decision of FAA , in which the SPIO admitted that a false statement was furnished previously (inadvertently) and it was regretted. But the point is, that specific false 'information ' was provided to different persons and at least thrice the statement was mentioned, by the same person. How many times a SPIO is allowed to furnish 'false statement ' by the Hon'ble SIC , is not really known to me. Would any member suggest me what should be the next step and how a complaint / appeal is to be drafted , specially when it is a well known fact that the SIC is very soft towards the SPIO .

You complaint directly to SIC ask them to penalize the SPIO for giving false reply. SPIO would have to reply for the same during the hearing.

Apart from what Nile mentioned, please also state in your appeal (and give evidence, if possible) about the SPIO giving false statement thrice.

Re: What should be the next step ?

Expert and experienced RTI activists of our state suggested me that the complaint will be futile , as the PIO had corrected the information after 1st hearing and moreover our Hon'ble SIC does not like to impose penalty to the concerned PIO .
The PIO is very influential and has got connection with some -------
In spite of that I would like to submit a complaint having receiving the proper suggestion from your side.
