Reg. Transfer of PF amount Hi,
I am a software engineer. Recently switched to a new company. I filled in the required forms in my new company for transferring my pf amount. It has been nearly three months. How do I know if the amount has been transferred?

Nice to have U with us. Pl address a simple letter by regd or speed AD post asking if the account is transferred to the office where u have submitted appln for transfer. Pl enclose photocopy of original transfer appln. PF dept will not reply, unless U R very lucky!. Wait for 35-40 days and then shoot RTI appln by refering to my blog on ANY THING PENDING WITH GOVT?". Things will move. I also invite you to visit my blog on PF STATUS, which will enable U to monitor your account on yearly basis. Pl guide your colleagues on PF monitoring, or else after 5-10 years it wil b difficult to reconcile PF account.Sponsorer
