| Considering the sorry state of Govt hospitals, I wish to find out "How much has been spent by govt. on former prime minister v p singh's dialysis in india and abroad?" A recent news item states: "V P Singh hospitalized in Mumbai June 6th, 2008 - 8:23 pm ICT by ANI Mumbai, June 6 (ANI): Former Prime Minister V P Singh has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Bombay hospital. Singh is suffering from kidney and heart problems. Dean of the hospital Dr. B K Goel said Singh was admitted to the hospital on Thursday and is undergoing treatment for kidney and heart ailments. “His condition is improving now,” Goel added. Singh regularly undergoes dialysis either in Apollo Hospital in Delhi or Bombay Hospital in Mumbai. He was undergoing treatment for an internal abdominal haemorrhage in a hospital in Hyderabad. “Singh came here from Hyderabad to get himself treated for his heart and kidney ailments and he has been admitted to the ICU,” Goel said. (ANI)" Isn't AIIMS good enough? What do poor patients in need of dialysis do? Where do they go? Former Prime Minister V P Singh was a champion of the underdog - remember "Mandal Commission"? |
