Never let the PIO come to know what you are actually looking

Hi guys

I feel this is very important for all. Every body gets excited about the RTI and feels that he or she has got the ultimate tool in their hands. They get excited and write down a whole lot of queries in a single RTI application and send it straight away to the PIO who seeing such a huge RTI application starts looking for escapes.

I think seeking the right information under the RTI is an "ART". I suggest few things

1) RTI application( where lot of info is required) should be in peices. first only those things should be asked which are easy to give. Then later you can ask for more based on the replies received. Like this the PIO will get trapped in his own replies.

2) It should be drafted in such a manner that the PIO does not come to know what exactly is your motive behind asking for the required info. I dont say that you file a vague application all i mean to say is that you need to be smart enough to dodge the PIO and get your info too at the same time.

anyone else who has more to add to this is welcome to add his views on this.

Regards

very very intellegent idea. sir it may take a lot of time but surly ultimately one will get what he wants. if officers have something to hide they will not come out easily . we must know and learn the art of dodging them .

Shri Gauravji.

U r very right but it is step by step process and people like us to get more support fm org. to how ask/get info. to/fm pio.

As u aware the reply of PIO/Govt. Authorities is not soon as v thought it is always delayed after our varous reminders.

what u suggest for drafting of application.
