Hello Everyone,

I just thought of an idea!

How about all of us feeding in information about info on PIO's at all levels and places. This will be huge but a good database can be created open to all, so others are not left with searching with a lantern as to whom to approach and where?

What do you think? It can always be sorted out by state level, so as to help in quick search.

A good idea. However to avoid multiplicity of the same data being sent by everybody, some of us can devote ourselves to one sector or one state in particular and send the data of the same to the site-administrators so that their task is not made too difficult. Kushalji, your suggestions please.

Thats a very good idea bombay girl.
We were infact working on it but off late it got little low priority. Now the members have flagged the issue. I believe we can rejoin with increased vigor.

I gave a try to XML and address book Mod. I guess the best way to ensure all users can maintain by installing a wiki for where structurally we can put down the address of PIO. Wiki is one of the powerful ways of collaborative content creation.

Thanks everyone, ok, i'll also prepare the few address that i have.

I know CIC has a list of state info officers but we can add those as well and create additional ones like at lower levels, other various depts of city, town, etc and even private ones too. Our aim is to create an extensive database that can be helpful to even the dumbest of all (including me)

Can we have this database on this site itself? or it could get a lil confused elsewhere.
