Thumbs up Departmental promotion committee minutes

I have doubt over the DPC of a PSU. I asked for a copy of DPC's recommendations for promotion. The CPIO refused to give, then after appealing, I could get the part of the information and the remaining information refused on application of section 10(1) of RTI act. Then I appealed to CIC. CIC On 24th June 2010 gave Decision to provide full information within 15 days of the order. As per the Decision No 5566/IC(A)/2010, F. No. CIC/MA/A/2010?000338 Dated 25-06-2010 the CAPIO provide me the full information.
It a matter of one year. I fight keeping patience. At last I succeed. Thanks to this RTI portal. The guide I have taken from the forum. Thanks to JP sir and Karira sir for the guidance.

Congratulations. Pl. post your success stories in order to get an inspiration t o others. CIC in so many land mark appeals decided that DPC minutes, marksheets, answer scripts of candidates if requested under the RTI Act 2005, should be provided.

This is a land mark judgment and you got the desired information also. Keept it up.

Kindly provide the CIC decision Order. The order no as you given is not correct.

You may see my success too, for the same exam and another after two years. The links are given bellow. I inspected marks of all the candidates, taken copies & got some startling information (The most that can be achieved through RTI). The last one is yet to be finalized after explanation sent by CPIO.

I am thankful to the CBUs, who have indefatigably helped members to acquire knowledge about RTI, thereby fighting against corruption.
