All sirs. as we have topic of month etc . cant we start a colomn or thread where one problem area and concerned CPIO's name and address is given where all our members can fire application asking for information .This way that concerned CPIO can be made to shell out required information.PLZ THINK ON THIS IDEA IF IT IS PERMISSIBLE WITHIN THE RULES OF OUR PORTAL

Hi Poonam,

I think we should list out a topic every 15 days or a month which concerns the whole society in a large way, discuss the topic in the forum and file an RTI query on the topic by just one or two senior members of the forum and pursue it to its logical conclusion.

Nevertheless I think RTI is a wonderful tool available to bring about transparency in the society and its already doing wonders even when used individually if used skillfully.

I also wonder if the forum can make suggestions / recommendations to make improvement /changes in the RTI Act to increase the leverage of an already very useful Act.
