Dear Sir,
Greetings!
One of my cousins has been caught for procuring a passport submitting a forged document. Only one of the four supporting documents was forged. He says it was the agent who made him to do so.
In this context, what are his punishments under the Passport Act? Will he be able to procure a new passport after surrendering the present one paying the necessary fine? If there is a delay in getting the new passport, how long will it take?
