Yes, you can certainly ask that. You should file your RTI application to concerned Land Revenue/Tashildar office. Since the procedure differs from state to state I suggest you to visit the site of your state govt.

Every square inch of land is accounted for at various individual municipal levels. It should not be a problem seeking information on the subject you have mentioned. |

Karnatka RTI rules: KARNATAKA RTI RULES - RTI Guide AND Karnatka RTI Amendment: Amendment to RTI Rules in Karnataka 2. How to write First appeal: How to write First Appeal under RTI? - RTI Guide 3. The first appeal is to be filed to Appellate Authority who is an officer senior in rank to the PIO. You can find the details of the AA in the same manner as you found about PIO. For the format you may use the format attached to this post: Disregarding RTI Act Feel free to revert in case of further queries. |

Third party information can not be taken under RTi. If the information relates to other person. If the PIO is conversent with the RTI Act he may refuse to supply the same. |

But Karira Sir When we ask for the property and property return details of an officer it is denied saying it is a third party detail. Though it is also in public interest. |

Hello All, The details regarding the asset of our areas Town Municiple Counciler DOES NOT MATCH with the one she has mentioned in her "nomination paper". I got the details of the land holding of her and her husband from our Taluk Tashildar by filing an RTI application. What's the next step I should take? Should I complain to the Election Commision or to the District Election commision for furthure action. Please do guide me in this regard. Thanks in advance. Best regards Raghavendra |
