Hi, RTI act is a platform for the public against the corrupt public servants. I want the information of the assets and IT returns of employees of Registrar of socities like, Deputy registrar, district deputy registrar, asst registrar , Bank manager, ward office at BMC, etc. Can anyone help me how to gwt this information. Also plz suggest for proper action against one trust , the trustees of which have grabbed the BMC garden plot reserved for public purpose and is being commercially exploited at kandivli-east. Any genuine NGO who fight to save precious space are welcome. My mobile no. is ----------

Welcome to the group Kamal Shah. Let go straight to the point that RTI Act is not actually a platform for the public against the corrupt public servant. In fact its a tool for the citizens to involve them in its function, keep them informed and encourage transparency in the working of the various public authority. Participation of every citizens would lead to informed society and also reduce corruption, stagnation and other social evils.

I would appreciate that instead of asking the NGOs to fight for the spaces in the BMC garden, it would be far better if a citizen does it himself. Citizens would be able to concentrate on the respective RTI Application and peruse it right till the CIC or SIC level.

Other members in this list would guide you how to do it.
