Non availability of RTI forms

On enquiry at several Govt/Quasi Govt offices in mumbai I have found that the forms for RTi are not available

There is no prescribed form for RTI Application. A simple letter addressed to the PIO of the concerned Public Authority, clearly spelling out what you need, along with your contact address should suffice. Of course, you have to attach the prescribed appliction fee.

You can download the format of such forms from the website of the concerned department. Get it type or fill-in the form, attach the required fee and send it to the designated PIO.
