Land Records and procedures to get patta

Dear Friends,

I have some basic questions. If anyone clarifies me would be much appreciated.

1) What does the means of the documents "Adangal", "Chitta", "Patta" and FMB sketch?
2) If we are registered the agricultural land in my name. Even is it required those documents and in which way those document would help?
3) My father & his brother shared the family property. So they have a common patta for the agricultural land. But they registered their part in their own name. Even in our patta we are having our grandfather and all other name. So what is the procedure to get the individual patta?
4) Is it possible to register the land with someone else without holding patta?
