Right to Electricity

Fundamental rights enshrined in the constitutions are being enforced , thanks to efforts of social crusaders. Right to education to a restricted sense is given the status of fundamental rights . What is lacking at the moment is the right to electricity as the fundamental rights . We have Metros where sun shines even during nights. We have stadium flooded to telecast every ball delivered to crazy indians . We have no electricity for the hapless rural homes. We need to prioritise. To have NEON SIGNS glowing all day-nights for the MNCs to advertise their products to the urban indians or to have a electric lamp for a rural home .

Re: Right to Electricity

If you know of any plans to extend electricity supply to your area which has been delayed due to problems of bureaucracy then you can easily get it on track using RTI.
