First i have to register my application with RTI?

I want to know some information from the JNTU hyderabad under RTI Act. For that I have to register my application with RTI or directly i can send it to JNTU hyderabad with the prescribed fee? Please reply.

Go to JNTU, Hyderabad website, then there is link in it RTI Act,2005.
