passport application status not displayed by passport office ghaziabad

dear sir,
I have applied for a indian pssport after expiry of my previous passprt. i have submitted my application on nov 07, which was sent to passport office gaziabad after police and LIO verification. But after a wait of eight month i have no information about the problem with my passport. The web site of passport office about "STATUS" of my appliaction is blank. what should i do to know the status of my application.
can you people help me.

Welcome to RTI forums. You should file and RTI application to the concerned RPO.

Dr shaib,

in case you are sure that your application has been sent to the RPO Ghaziabad, (with a positive remarks)with due police verification and LIO report. You need to file a RTI application asking the followings -

a) daily progress report of your file u/s 2(f)
b) reason for the delay in issue of your passport u/s 4(1)(d) as you are the affected person.
c) the information be provided to you within 48 hours as it relates to the life & liberty of yourself.
