I am an employee of INDIAN COUNCIL OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH, NEW DELHI. I proceeded on leave for one week after getting sanction of the leave from Head of the Department. My daughter fell sick and I had to extend my leave for 10 more days, which I did via email. My head of the department agreed for the extension over by phone. Now after two months he says he wants to deduct my 10 days salary by making it break in service. I had 40 days of earned leave then as per my service book. Kindly suggest what should I do to save my salary and remain in the job also.
