Passport delay

I am Mamatha Puttaswamy, residing in Mysore, Karnataka. Thank you very much for the invitation. I am looking to lodge a complaint about unable to track my sons passport applied at Central Post Office, Mysore.

My name is Karthikeyan,I applied for Passport in chennai on 01/02/2010,my file reference no is B002934..still i didnt received mine.I went to SP office Dharmapuri to enquire about that.They said they have sent the application to chennai after police verification.When i checked in official website for passport,it said my file no is wrong.Before two months i can check the status with the above said file no.But now the page is different and i cant get any details.Please help me,now it is nine months since i applied for passport.Understand my discomfort

My wife has applied for passpoer around 6 months back, the passport status is showing same from last two monts. The status is
"It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time" . so please sugget me how to proceed further.
