Need Help: Non Receipt of Passports

Dear Sir,

I had applied for renewal of my mothers passport on 24th March 2008 Vide File No. H005214 and my sons new passport on the same date vide File No. M005804, with New Delhi Regional Passport Office.

Even after almost 5 months now and rigorous followups with the Passport office, the status still shows that Police Verification Report is pending. I have also checked at the Local Police Station and they have confirmed to me that to date they have not received the files for verification from the Passport Office.

We are at a complete loss of the attitude of the Regional Passport Office as there is no information from their end about the progress of our application.

Please advise what we should do.

You should file a RTI application to passport office asking them status of your application. Please follow the links given in my signatures.
