I, Anand Ranpura, had applied for passport on 6th Feb, 2007 and it was delivered after 5 months on 14th July, 2007 at IIT Madras (Then address). But I had already joined L&T company after completion of M.Tech. course and I was at a remote site in Uttarakhand. So, I could not collect the passport and it was returned to RPO, Chennai on 27th August, 2007. Due to probation period of initial 6 months, I could not come to Chennai for passport collection. I had written two e-mails regarding this on 26th Sept, 2007 and 11th Oct, 2007 (Enclosed herewith). But I did not receive any reply. I came to Chennai on 25th Feb, 2008 and had an appointment with Asst. Passport Officer S. Sagunthala. As per her instructions, I forwarded my current address proof (From L&T Company) by speed post on 12th march, 2008. Till date, there is no any reply or instruction has been received from other side. This is getting inordinate delay. I am kindly requesting to instruct me what course of action is required in this case so as passport will be dispatched either to Uttarakhand (where I am currently staying) or to my permanent address (Gujarat).
