Need Help: Regarding PF withdraw

Hi Friends,
I need your help
my previous employer submitted my PF withdrawal related document to regional provident fund office Chennai before 1.5 month back.
many times I mailed to RPFO Chennai but every time they replied me that your claim not received.

what I do in this situation.
Also can anybody provide me the mail id of RPFO Chennai commissioner.

Welcome to this portal with nearly 9000 pan India members.
Pl obtain phtocopy of regd/courier/postal ad of despatch of papers by your previous employer. If he has really mailed properly, U can file RTI application to know status of refund by enclosing proof of desptach or receipt by the EPF Office. Pl visit my blog at

actully i don't have any proof that my previous employer sent my document to RPFO chennai or not but i have mail from my prevoius employer that they alredy sent my document.
they also said that we confirm with RPFO chennai and document recieved by the office but they not start process yet.
shalle i file RTI without any proof.

Yes, just enclose copy of letter of your previous employer.

I need some more information from your side.
I want to file RTI against PF office chennai.
i have following few doubt to file RTI-:
1) should i send RTI application to below address

Your RTI application regarding PF has to be submitted to the PIO in the RPFO in Chennai. The PIO details for Tamil Nadu region are available at:

RTI_OFFICERS DETAILS

EPFO is a Public Authority under the Centre so the central rules for RTI and fees are applicable. The RTI fee is Rs. 10.00 payable by DD/BC/IPO to "Accounts Officer".

Application can be submitted by hand (get a acknowledgement on your copy), by Registered Post AD (so that AD card acts as a proof of receipt) or Speed Post (track the letter online and print out the delivery report for your file).
