| I have following Question. Is there is any Maximum duration for any enquiry or it can go ever? Can we ask for the time frame. An Quasi court is established by the authority, hearing has done. But no judgement is communicated to the person under enquiry. So can this info can be retrieved as what the result/status of the quasi court. What options are available, if there seems that authority is delaying the matter intentiolly. What if the authority(chairman in my case) get transferred, still can we ask the transferred chairman for the delay. Is there any accountability on the delay. |

Welcome to this portal. Your problem can be best handled by labour law advocate or knowledgable leader of trade union. As for RTI, if you are serving in a govt organisation you can ask what ever U want. My suggestion would be to ask as much info as U think will help U defend or expedite enquiry. If U do not ask, U do not get. But if U ask, you may get. Just navigate thro ALL ABOUT RTI icon on the home page and blog section on this page top. All the best.

Rajeev, Besides what jps50 mentioned, please have a look at the following: http://cic.gov.in/CIC-Orders/MA-19082008-13.pdf It will give you some idea as to what all you can ask for. |

Ashok, Yes you can. Is your doubt because of the 5 year period OR because charges have still not been framed ? |

hallo rajeev 1- if you are in govt. service it is depend on yr state service rules, or if you in private job it matter solved by labour law. 2- for yr second quation if you not recieved result or the result in your fevior then yu may appeal to tribunal coart for service matter. and when you go to tribunal yr servicing authority also reply it. then you recieved their view by court 3- if you feel the enquary aginest you then you may protaste in court 4- if one person transfered but post is not transfered so the next chairman is responsible for it. the RTI help yu following way if you are in Govt. jobs. 1- ask the time limit 2- ask about progress report of enquiry and if decision decleared then what result made. |

5 years is not a very long time. ACR's can be accessed simultaneously. Just for your info, even retired officers are asking to see their ACR's - although I rally do not know what purpose that will serve. |
