Long ago we started realising the importance of Senior Citizen and the facilities they deserve.All departments of all govts do give a preference and all short concessions be it a railway,hospital ,air or even Income Tax.While gauging the benefits available to Senior Citizens I find one area where Senior Citizen do not gey any concession and preference.There are large number of Senior Citizen who are lot of work in the area of RTI Act.Chandigarh Administartion ,which have given many facilities to senior citizens ,should extend this facility to its Senior Citizen and wave the processing Fee for RTI Applications when filed by a Senior Citizen.This will be a befitting selute to our Senior residents and a we will be a step ahead towards transparency and responsiveness.
