Recently CIC heard a case where the complainant presented his case using a Power Point Presentation. This is a new way to present your case. RTI Activist Commodore Lokesh Batra (Rtd) has filed complaints before the CIC against National Commission for Women on the subject of Nithari Killings. For this he had prepared a Presentation using Power Point and submitted the same before the commission. This Power Point presentation contained 60 slides. The same was mentioned in the decision of the CIC here. http://cic.gov.in/CIC-Orders/WB-20082008-01.pdf A related news article is posted below. CIC asks NCW to provide all Nithari files to activist I have started a new post so that members can discuss & explore various alternate channels through which presestation can be made before the Commissions. Commdr. Batra got a favourable order from CIC, though not necessarily due to this Power Point Presentation he made but due to his dogged perseverance. P.S. A copy of this Power Point Presentation is available with me. It's a huge file (approximately 8 Mb) so I could not upload it. If someone is interested I can email the same directly.
