Anyone from Chattisgarh - need help in RTI fees..

Is there any member on the forum from Chattisgarh ?

I need some clarifications on the RTI fees.

The circulars are available at:

State Information Commission Chhattisgarh

They are not clear at all.
Can someone please clarify what are the Fees under RTI in Chattisgarh ?

- Fees for RTI Application
- Modes of payment allowed
- In favour of whom ?
- Cost of photocopy, CD, Floppy, DVD etc...
- Cost of Inspection

There is one circular available on the above link about "File Notings". It says that "File Notings" are out of the purview of RTI.

I am not from Chhatisgadh, but I have following information:
Rs.10/- by cash or deposit in treasury. A 3/4 size page Rs.2 per page. CD Rs. 50/-
I think for applicants outside Chhatisgadh, money order may be the option.

Karira, in respect of two of these circulars, dated 09.03.2006 & 17.03.2006, the english version is available against the number "2" which appears on the right hand side. It gives an interesting reading--cost of first appeal is Rs.50( or Rs.75/- for postal appeals) and for second appeal to SIC it is Rs.100/-(postal appeal Rs. 150/-).

File inspection fee stands at Rs.50/- for the first hour. Cost of providing info under life and liberty clauses is Rs.100/- per page. Very interesting!

It also says if the requested information is about the personal life of the applicant, then it will provided to him at Rs. 100/- per page !!

I was updating the State wise information in the "Guide" segment and came across these Chattisgarh Circulars.
