Dear Sir/ Mam, I am Naresh Bhatt and staying in Indirapuram Ghaziabad. This is regarding my passport application F 001375 which is pending at Passport Office, Ghaziabad since 24- Jan- 2007. After repeated follow-ups they have not even send my passport or neither provide any update to me on the same. As I applied for passport in January 07 for which I again went to passport offiice on 26.07.08 for confirming it status, passport officer said me that I had not mentioned my Date of Birth on my application form but I don't know how they able to post my date of birth on their website anyhow I filled -up new form on 26.07.08 and submit the same to them. But till date I have not received my passport from them. Kindly suggest me how can I get my passport from Ghaziabad Office. Thanks & Regards, Naresh Bhatt ....................  ...........     |

Regarding the delay in passport you can file an RTI application with Central Public Information Officer/Passport officer CGO Complex-I Hapur Chungi Kamla Nehru Nagar Ghaziabad (UP) Tel No - 0120-2700320,2721876,2721779 Fax - 0120-2782770 E-mail - rpo.ghaziabad@mea.gov.in sample copy of RTI application regarding delay in passport is available at the this link http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/...-passport.html
