There is park in front of my house. The grass in usually cut by the municipal workers. Now for long it has not been attended to. I was trying to file an rti which will make the Municipal workers come and cut the grass as it has become a hazard with snakes etc living in it. The area has become totally unsafe for small children and there have been recent incidents of snake bites in the area. So in the end I realized that it might actually be a contractor who has to get the thing done. And it also is possible that on records the officials might have claimed salary for workers but no workers were employed to do the job. Corruption. So now I'm planing to file an RTI which will not only get the grass cut but also ensure that 1. workers are being paid as per min wages act 2. no corruption has taken place. So anything i shud keep in mind while filing the application?? How are such tasks generally performed? Is it contract based? And what queries would expose corruption?? |

I think you will have to adopt trial and error method, unless somebody in our forum has some past experience.
