transparency to be the key to success, these ic has been killing rti by allowing those not providing information by punishing pio even if they have defaulted on rti act & rules

as common man do not have resource to move to court the escape is sure for pio .

we are glad to the judgement from sc,
Mumbai rti activist has too been fighting of no transparency on the appointment of sic at the state

Kudos to the RTI activist who filed the petition in order to open up the process of selection and appointment of IC'S. I hope the SC judgment is also applied for all the State Information Commissions too.

Kudos to Mr. Kejriwal. All conscious citizens need to rise and safeguard against CIC and RTI laws slowly falling into the hands of bureaucrats and politicians, who scratch each others' back. Mr. Tiwari's appointment as CIC, just before three months of his retirement is a mockery and speaks volumes about how casual the Govt. feels about making the RTI effective, as an institution.
