Adhoc Committee

The managing committee of our society got dissolved on July 20 for non submission of Form M-20 and are now functoning as adhoc committee. The vacted members of the managing committee had mis-managed the affairs of the society by not giving Minutes of the meeting; passing resolutions on vital issues for meetings that have been adjourned; by reusing to answer any queries asked from them, etc. Does an adhoc committee have right to call for election of new managing committee? What is the time frame for an adhoc committee to be in power?
