Still The Officers Say " Hum Nahi Sudharenge"

I must appreciate the person who developed this historical rti act
against corruption,

really that person or group of persons is great.

The creator of this forum is also great because such forum is must for
the lovers of RTI.

Using RTI we can fight strongly against corruption and we must.
That way we can serve our country.

Off course it is not easy also to collect the desired information from
the organizations where we know very high corruption is there,
it is my experience that the officers highly resist to give information
under RTI, they take months, they neither affraid nor bothered about
time limit and punishment. They take help of lawyers to resist RTI.

But even we must not disappoint and keep strong follow up with
thorough knowledge of RTI Act. With highest level of passion
then only we can win the game of collecting information under
RTI Act from such highly corrupted department.

Very nice thoughts. Welcome to RTI India. I am sure with strong desire for knowing 'why', we can bring in due participation of all of us in decision making of our nation.

But I need clarification of the above quoted remarks of Kushalji. I had a bitter experience of three Govt. Depts. in connection with RTI applications.
I submitted many RTI applications and asked for the reason of certain unwanted administrative decisions under 4(1)(d) . The reply is provided mostly in two types (1) RTI is meant for information, not for clarification. (2) There is no recorded reason available.
After 1st appeal it was always mentioned - There is nothing more to add.
There are at least a dozen 2nd appeals/ complaints pending with State Information Commission, months after months. In connection with two complaints SIC , of its own decided in favour of the Public Authority, ignoring all those important and partinent points raised by the complainants.
So, it will be very much helpful if the propr clarification and subsequent suggestions are provided by the experinced members.

You are very correct. But we can fight with higher authority showing them
Dharas of RTI.

We must not hesitate to file First Appeal and then Second Appeal timely
after filling appeal we are free to fight at all levels of RTI.

I kept on follow up for nine months after regional office of Union Bank Of India
I went there 40 times atleast keeping all the passions and then successfully
I collected 80% required information. Still I am there after the officers
for remaining informations.
