I would like to know and get information regarding: Whether I can request for furnishing the certified copies of file notings and also certificate of passing an examination and whether this request is well within the scope of RTI Act 2005. If yes then I would like to know under which rule, clause, sub-clause of RTI Act 2005? I will be grateful if I get the information at the earliest please. Gautam Ghosh      |

Welcome to this portal. U can definitely ask for the info quoted by U. RTI Act has provided exemptions in sections 8 and 9. Other than that all info/papers are accessible under RTI. If the matter pertains to Orissa State, U have to follow RTI RULES of Orissa state as to format and fees etc. U can get this info from official website of state govt under RTI icon or website of Orissa State Information Commission.
