I want to know more about the passport processing. I had filled in my application with the Passport Office and police verification has also been done at my residence. Now I hear there is something called Local Intelligence Unit who would be again verifying my residence etc. Is this true? Can you tell me the step by step process from passport application to passport receipt.      |
