Hi, Can somebody please help me with the below points or guide me to information about the same 1) How are Stamp-duty and Registration charges calculated for a MHADA flat. Please explain or re-direct to a knowledgebase. 2) If I buy a MHADA flat under resale do I also need to get the flat transferred under my name with MHADA. If yes, why? - please explain or redirect to a knowledgebase. Any help is highly appretiated. Thanks, Naresh |

U can file RTI appln with MHADA for above information by refering to MAHARASHTRA RTI RULES available in GUIDE section on this page [right top]. Pl do not ask info in question form. Instead say..please let me know method of calculation of ....charges, duties.....and provide me certified copy of govt GR.....etc etc. Pl put all the queries in one go to save time and money.

We recently bought Mhada Row house in Charkop Kandivali and will be shiting in a weeks time. My father is busy getting all the documents in, but when i communicated with him about it i sense something fishy. Below is the question: We have paid all the money to the flat owner and have got the original documnets of the flat. But since we also need the stamp duty & registration docs from Mhada we are working on get the NOC from the CHS Chariman, who is demading Rs.10,000/- for the NOC. Without NOC we cant get done the stamp duty & registration. Is the demand for 10k INR really vaild/payable? Regards, Chetan Poojari |
