Delay Is Passport Issue

Sir,

While being in Indian Air Force I applied for the Indian Passport File Ref number B011146 dated 27 Nov 2006 through proper channel (after acquiring NOC From Indian Air Force). Ever since I applied for the passport I have been enquiring about the status of the passport but there has been no answers from the RPO Lucknow office. The telephone numbers (0522-2287130) provided on the official site is rarely being attended and on being getting lucky to converse with the authorities they don't reply properly. I spoke to Mr.Santosh he first said only Mr. Yadav will tell you about the latest passport status. When I called on again I was told to call after ten minutes as they were doing some other job. When I called in the evening he said you enquire via letter from Mr. Zahur H. Zaidi to know the exact cause of the problem. For this I send a Fax to know the status of my Passport by there is no reply.

What do I have to do to get my passport issued ?
