Only if it was registered in the first place. Its not necessary to register a will in India for it to be valid. And if it was, do you know where? Documents transferring immovable property need to be registered at the closest (or designated) sub-registrar's office. I believe wills can be registered anywhere in the state. Do you know if the will was witnessed/attested?

Dept of Registration and Stamp Duty. You can file an
RTI application, but a normal request for searching a will might be easier and faster.
