Success of rti in drdo

HI ALL,
I have been followed up for the DRDO's Recruitment rules for STA for last one year (on account of which?) the DRDO has made some +ve changes in thier new advertisement.

1. RESERVATION & DISCIPLINES:
The Vacancies are advertised with reservation of indivisual disciplines.
Previously vaccancies are diplayed with overall reservation for STA posts & not indivisual disciplines.

2.MODE OF EXAM , QUIST. PAPER PATTERN, SCHEME & SYLLABUS:
Insrtuction & rules are clearly defined regarding this.
Previously these things were posted in a\call letters only.

3. EXAM SCHEDULE:
Exam is going to be conducted in 15 different centeres across country at a time for all disciplines for all STA posts.so candidate can appear for only parrent discipline & not any other allied discipline.
Previously candidates can apply for more two than two allied dicsiplines.

4. COMPLITION OF PROCESS:
all written exam & interviw is going to conducted at same date. so delaing of results is avoided
Previously exam & interviw condiucted for only one dicplines per week.
this will consume half an year to conduct procedure for 25-30 disciplines.

One must also appreciate and congratulate DRDO, which is exempt from RTI under Sec 24 (except for Human Rights and Corruption), to have taken this matter seriously and acted upon it.
