Question: Property in Mumbai

Dear Sir,

I am a resident of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra and I have a few queries regarding the property rates in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

1. I would like to know which is the concerned authority or body that determines property rates in Mumbai?? Is it a govt. body or a private one or none??

2. What is the criteria on which the rates keep on increasing with each passing day??
