| UPSC challenged the CIC's order in Delhi High Court and lost. So, I suppose the orders can be challenged. But, also waiting for others opinion/comments because I am not too sure. |

| Section 19(9) of RTIA05 says that CIC and/or SIC shall give notice of its decision, including any right of appeal, to the complainant and the public authority. It is to be ensured that CIC and SIC follow this sectio. The right to appeal automatically follows. mksinghal |

My friend requires information regarding his land records / demarcation of his land he approached PIO but he did not get satisfactory reply on appealing to First A A he has not got any reply till date. He is afraid that if he approaches to second A A (SIC) till he will not get satisfactory reply due to political/ bureaucrats pressure. My question is can we challenge SIC or appeal against SIC. I yes than what is the procedure for the same. Can we approach in court of law regarding decision of SIC I yes than what is the procedure for the same. > |
