Hello every body. ![]() For quick and easy referencing, it is suggested that the plethora of orders/decisions that have been passed by the various competent fora should be posted and tabulated on this innovative website, category wise viz. i) year-wise, ii) Court-wise, by name of the various Central/State Information Commissions/High Courts/Supreme Court, and iii) alphabetically topic-wise. Also, there should be an indication whether the order is in force or has been overruled along with cross-referenced details of the latest ruling. Ravinder Kumar |

I can provide you all the raw data and ways to find the information on the internet. Will you be willing to take on the job for benefit of all the members ? A few important CIC orders/decisions are posted and analysed in the "Appeals and Decisions" section of the forum. Many more are quoted in individual posts in relevance to the subject of discussion in a particular thread. High Court Orders are posted at www.rtiindia.info. In both these cases, no indexing has been done. |

Good suggestion. If someone takes the initiative, I am willing to be a part of it, and share the responsibility.

SK & Sandeep, Thanks for your cooperation. 1. For CIC orders, I have the important ones in pdf format with the title being a brief description of the important part. Like: If AA not known any higher officer AA Which law applies RTI or other one Charges as per RTI or other rules No postal charges under RTI etc. 2. Similarly, I have some SIC decisions but in word format 3. High Court orders, whatever I could gather, are on www.rtiindia.info Many more are being uploaded 4. I feel indexing needs to be done on: Date Relevant Section/Subsection of RTI Name of IC CIC or State IC Topic of interest (like ACR , DPC, application fees, etc..may be in more detail) Interesting observations/Relevant observations about the topic Appeal allowed or not allowed (Please think it mover and add more) I will create a account on google docs and upload the orders there. Will send account name and p/w for you to open. It is worthwhile to check if there is some indexing freeware available on the net and if we can use it. These are just thoughts for a start. |
