FINALLY GOT MY PASSPORT

Many Thanks to rtiindia forum and RTI Act. Finally we achieved

Special thanks to RTI India Team members - Karira, dr. s. malhotra and ambrish p. for guiding me from start to end to write applications, taking decisions, framing questions and everything. Moreover for their quick reply.

After a series of 3 RTIs and 1 appellate authority appeal in total of 46 days I got my passport. Total expense only around 100/-, but the thing that matters is getting the work done in government offices through this ACT. Still RTI replies and appeal reply is on the way. So Authorities thought to issue me a passport first

and then give a reply.

What I learned is - RTI is most powerful weapon against corruption and government officials. Just we need to ask them the right question at right time with little patience.

RTI India has best RTI Activists in India working for public welfare. Once again thanks to whole RTI India Forum Happy Holi

Now that you have personal experience of the power of RTI, please help by spreading the word around to your family, friends, colleagues, neighbors and any one else who is willing to listen.
RTI will be of help top them also.

Yes, I already told all my friends to go for RTI, and many did following my thread at http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/66592-...-new-post.html

RTI is the best way to get official answers from officials, who they always give false remarks and suggestions when we go in conversation with them at their office desk.
Two major turning points in my case was -
sending the RTI to SP Office and asking them about my permanent verification.
And other one sending a RTI appeal to chief passport officer, new delhi
