New RTI Rules for Central PA's ?

In the minutes of the meeting held in CIC on 2nd September 2008, there were two important points - but there is no clarity as to what is exactly happening:

1. There seems to be a move by DoPT to frame new RTI Rules for Central PA's. No Clarity on that.

2. As part of the Rules, benches of CIC are expected to be created at other places. CIC observed that this should come under the Commissions own regulations.

3. Commission has also desired that under the Rules, the compliance of disciplinary action must be reported to the commission.

4. There seems to be a circular from DoPT regarding clarification of Sec 8(3) - 20 years section - but no further details are available.
(The said circular has still not been put up on the DoPT website)
