A filing of RTI is certainly appreciable.Sponsorer
But prior to that I would request you to do some groundwork as well. Write a letter to the school inspector, village panchayat, BDO, MLA and MP of your area. Get is signed by the notable people in your area, guardians of students of that school. In the letter, mention whom you are sending it. This itself will cause a stir and one of the person who is addressed should look into the issue.
Even if none of them does anything, this will be a serious documentation of their gross negligence of duty towards the citizen.
If all these basic tries fail go for RTI...
