    Welcome Mr. Jatinder
Yes but do they maintain records of that it is not confirm. it is still unclear that what information you exactly need
You can get copies of news paper/s:
    1) District Information Centre
    2) Publisher's office
    3) Municipal / reputated library
    regards

I dont think that the DC office would be required to give you a copy of the newspaper. RTI rules in certain states (most of them) clearly state that information which is available publicly, need not be provided by the PIO. Moreover the copies of newspapers are not maintained for ever. The time period for which these are maintained depends on various factors such as the relevance of a particular new report to some ongoing case etc. Rather than filling an RTI and waiting for 30 days to receive a rejection, I would suggest that you would be better off getting a copy from the Publisher.
