PF transfer initiated in 2 days

I was running around the PUNE PF office for months to get my previous PF transferred from bangalore. It was almost 2 years since i applied for the transfer but it never happened.

Finally, I used RTI to get the status of my transfer request and the reson for the delay. Within days, I got a call from the PF office and they told me that the previous form has been lost for some shifting they did... To my surprise there was no record of my previous request... and it would have never happened if I would have been sitting waiting for it to happen...

They requested me to send a new for immediately... I was not happy about it but there was no other way to get the transfer done... I sedn the form on the same day and my tranfer request was initiated on the very next day....

I was a great sucess since this motimated lot of my colleguees to do the same to get their tranfer done..
