Issue of Credit Card by Indian Bank, Bhubaneswar Main Branch by using RTI

My application for credit card with all relevant papers and documents was submitted to the manager, Indian Bank, Bhubaneswar. But I had to run from officers to branch manager Mr. XXXXX. Finally , I shooted another application through the Speed post and the officer responded by telephone and asked me to submit Mandate as it was Joint account. I responded with his request and then there was no reply even after 2 months of submission of CC application.
I took the decision to submit RTI application and the reply came from Chennai HO and Bhubaneswar.

Finally, the credit card was issued and delivered to me ! The officers urged me not to pursue the matter with the Appellate Auhority.

Its great to have RTI on citizen side !!

I wonder why your Bank took too much time when other Credit Card companies
are running after customers to issue credit cards ?
