CHennai Land dispute! Need help!
Background Information:
My Grandfather had procured the a land in Nanganallur – Chennai – Tamilnadu long back around 1980’s
Since he died long back, the land is now owned by my father. We have all the required documents like land registration document, patta & plan approval. Four years back, we noticed that our neighbor has encroached our land with the fences. At that time, we went to his home and had a lengthy discussion and got a confirmation letter from him in written and signed by him and his family members to demolish his fence. We didn’t start demolishing his fence since we were not having enough money to start demolishing his fence. During when we approached our neighbor he is not allowing us to demolish his fence.
We launched an application to the land surveyor with the Thasildhar office four months ago. Nobody from the Thasildhar office had visited our house to measure the boundary yet.
Query:
Please help us with the information to measure the boundaries and to solve this issue. It will be so helpful for my beloved old parents. Thanks a lot in advance

Re: CHennai Land dispute! Need help!
Thanks for your informations.
FYI, I am new to the this site and i was not sure to where to place my question (Ask for RTI Query/Ask for Framing an RTI Question/ RTI Think Box etc). Thats the reason, i placed my questions in the three sections and my intension was not to get the better or more answers.
However, My apologies if this has increased your work load.
