Balance in EPF account

I tried the "Search for Establishment Code/Name" feature and keyed in a random Pune based company (Bajaj Auto). It gave the answer.

I am surprised that the website you mentioned (link given in your post) has only 48000 visitors !

Yes it works. I checked my balance it gave me the correct amount whcih was on my PF slip.

The balance is only for the last financial year (06-07) and does not reflects the amount for this year.

That is fine. It may help you to tally whether what they have given as hard copy matches in the online screen!!! As long as it is not up-dated info, it serves limited purpose.
