Question: Non receipt of reply

Dear Friends,

I am serving in Indian Army and submitted an application for some information from The records office but no reply received yet. Is all the sections and areticles in the RTI act is applicable to Army also ? Whom should I approach further ? Request to advise at the earliest.

In general, RTI is applicable to army also but a few specific establishments are exempted under schedule 2. Please refer to Second Schedule of the RTI Act 2005 - RTI Guide for details.

Of course RTI is applicable to Army. If you can come out with the type of information you require , this forum might be able to help you
