Is the Section 8 of the Act is deleted ?The custodian instead must seek permission from the CIC to with-hold any info. no govt official worth his/her salt shall ever part with the info howsoever silly the content may be? please, kindly give the correct source fromwher it can be confirmed.

No deletion of any section of the act is possible without passing an amendment act. No such thing has happened.

RIGHT, HOW A SECTION CAN BE DELETED WITHOUT PASSING THE AMENDMENT ACT. I am also sure it is not deleted.
