Dear RTI Team,
Thanks. I had been requesting Directorate General Personnel, Military
Engineer Services, Army Headquarters, New Delhi for grant of 2nd ACP to me
for more than 22 months & exhausted all other channels, but to no avail.
Lastly, hearing of my second appeal in Central Information Commission was
fixed for June 09, 2011. The Govt. Deptt. at the hearing submitted that the
needful is likely to be done by July end. I am pleased to intimate that I
have now been granted 2nd ACP by the concerned Govt. Deptt. on 02 Aug.,2011.
This has become possible on account of able guidance from your
website to me from time to time. I desire to express my gratitude to all the
people working on your website, Central Information Commission & RTI Act
without whose support & help I would not have got what was rightfully due to
me long back. I wish that RTI Act is made more stringent by incorporating
suitable amendments so that more & more people, who are fed up with the
prevailing system in Govt. offices & corruption in India, are benefitted by
RTI Act.
